Apple Orchard Field Trip

This week, our grade 3 class got to go on a super exciting field trip to the Apple Orchard. At Sanderling Waldorf School 3rd grade is “doing year”. The value of experiential learning allows a child to implement their authentic wonder, awe and curiosity into everything they do. Students have a wide range of hands-on experiences that take curriculum outside of the classroom and into the world. Upon spending the day at an Apple Orchard, the class was able to bring full bags of apples home to share with their family! What are your favorite activities to do with your kids?
